BALI MOTHER & BABY HOUSE

Visiting the House.

We love visitors

We love visitors but we are a home and the mothers and children in our care deserve privacy and respect.

Here are some guidelines for our visitors:

  • All visits must be pre-arranged with someone on the management committee. Please contact us.

  • Visits need to be on weekdays and preferably around 10am.

  • Most of the time we have enough clothes and toys however if you really want to donate these please discuss with us. No warm clothing – it is never needed! And please, no broken toys.

  • The children in our care love meeting children from other countries.

  • We always need baby and toddler formula and baby and infant paracetamol from western counties – please bring some if you can.

  • Many of our visitors do a big grocery shop before coming out to the House. Standard items include rice, chicken, kitchen and laundry cleaning products, laundry detergent, body wash, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Of course, the occasional sweet treat is welcome too!

  • Cash donations are always appreciated.

  • Please bring your own water and water bottle.

  • Show sensitivity when asking questions of the mothers, children and staff.

Some House rules:

  • Men are not permitted to visit the House unless accompanied by a woman.

  • Every visitor must sign the attendance book.

  • No smoking or illicit drug-taking is to take place in the House.

  • No visitors are permitted to go upstairs unless given specific permission to do so.

  • The staff are in charge at all times.

  • Please ask for permission before taking photos.

  • Please don’t come to the House if you are unwell or unvaccinated.
